Arunesh Nadgir taught his first piano student at the age of 17 and he hasn’t stopped since. Currently based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Nadgir is the Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Middle Tennessee State University where he teaches undergraduate and graduate piano majors, minors, and non-majors.  He also conducts chamber music coachings, teaches classes such as Piano Literature, Piano Chamber Music Literature, and Music Theory, and gives master classes across the region and around the country. 

His students have been accepted to graduate and doctorate programs in piano performance and collaborative piano and summer music programs, have performed for world-renowned artists, and have been prize-winners at college level competitions including the University of Rochester Concerto Competition and the Beethoven Club of Memphis Young Artist Competition.    

In addition to his teaching obligations at MTSU, Nadgir also maintains a private piano studio in Murfreesboro, TN.  He is a member of the Middle Tennessee Music Teachers Association (MTMTA), and is on the Executive Board of the Tennessee Music Teachers Association (TnMTA). His students perform frequently in recital and have won prizes at pre-college competitions.

Nadgir has held teaching positions at the New England Conservatory Preparatory and Continuing Education Departments, the Eastman School of Music, the Point CounterPoint, the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and the Palisades School of Music.
